Little Hearts For His Glory~Week 7

Morning routine: Morning board over breakfast, Praise and Worship, prayer, bible reading and discussion.

Scripture: Psalm 121:2 My help comes from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.

~To many times we are looking to each other for something God wants to do for us..We focused on asking God for help and relying on Him instead of looking to others.

History: Gideon, Samson, Ruth, Hannah and we also learned how the Israelites were no longer happy with God being their king…they wanted to have a fleshly king.

Phonics: Hooked on Phonics-Kindergarten (Jada is close to the end, Jasmine is in the beginning)

Character of the week: Prayerful- Philippians 4:6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thankgiving, present your requests to God.

~ We discussed how important prayer was, real earnest and sincere prayer at that…AKA praying in the spirit.  Every problem the girls come to me with..I say “give it to God” “Pray about it”.  I think it is important for them to learn early that our relationship with God is the most important!  More important than mommy, daddy, sister or anyone.  Always rely and lean on God for your answer.   Now that doesn’t mean neglect other relationships by any means it just means the balance of it is God first everyone else next.

Science: The World God Made included in our LHFHG

All About Spelling: Mastering the phonograms

Math: Funnix Beginning math for Jasmine and HOM and Singapore Early Bird Math 2A for Jada which was included in LHFHG.

We did a fun sorting activity from LHFHG schedule.  The girls had to
each find 5 different items and bring them to the table, we then
sorted them based on different criteria..shape, color, size,
what they are used for, etc.  They really enjoyed this.

What a blessing it has been to homeschool my beautiful ladies…It is the hardest, yet most rewarding thing I have ever done.  I praise God everyday for placing this in my heart.  Thank You JESUS!!  All Glory to you LORD!!
