Well every fall we get to do something we all enjoy—Our Annual Leaf Walk...Yay!! We had so much fun this year, the weather was beautiful (hot)! We started off on our journey and the girls were beyond thrilled. They were screeching and screaming with joy the whole time. Aaahhh look at this one mommy…ooooh and this one mommy!
If anyone read our last years post, Jada was super picky about the leaf selection, she only wanted purple, I warned her and warned her the closer we got to our house “the leaf walk is almost over just pick some leaves”. “Nooooo I want purple I just know there will be purple.” Needless to say no purple leaves and Jada came home with an empty bag and a broken heart:( Here’s a cute pic of her sorrow from last year…lol.
Here are some much happier pictures from this year…She learned her lesson and grabbed tons of leaves…LOL!
Then later in the week they did leaf print painting. They painted the vein side of the leaf with orange, red and purple. Next they flipped them over onto cardstock and pressed on a print. They also painted their pinecones and did some prints with those as well. They love to paint, so this was very exciting for them.
Thank you for stopping by. Have a blessed fall season.
