Little Hearts For His Glory

One more week until we officially begin Kindergarten and Pre-K!

This is going to be a great year we are trying something new!  Jada will be working through Heart of Dakota..Yay! I ordered Little Hearts For His Glory which is a Christ -Centered curriculum!  It is broken down into 34 units with complete daily plans. Each day of plans is divided into the following 2 parts: "Learning Through History" and "Learning the Basics".  The Learning Through History portion of the daily plan gives a broad view of history from creation to present day and includes devotional topics, science discovery, art projects, dramatic play, thinking games, rhymes, gross motor skills, and music.  Another thing that is great is you use your own handwriting and phonics programs, We will be using our HOP kindergarten for phonics and Hooked on Handwriting to start...We may switch it up as the year goes by!

Jasmine who is turning 4 in September will be joining in with big sis wherever possible but I also have a binder filled with math, phonics, thinking skills, science discovery, handwriting and much more to be added.  I have it broken down and tabbed for each day of the week.  So I won't have to worry about what she will do daily the work is DONE... Shwew.

Jordan is along for the ride..I will continue Purposeful Playtime with Her.  She has really enjoyed extra special mommy time and if I don't schedule it in she will just be the baby in the background..eek! I think it is important to make her feel like she is a part of the plans!!  She will be joining in for prayer and praise and worship daily also!!

Well I know that God is working through me to gently guide my children toward their purpose and call!  I really enjoy being the main vessel He uses to teach and train up my children!  I have been very blessed in to many ways to tell!  I am so glad I followed His nudge and  chose to homeschool my ladies.  It is really not even school it is a lifestyle and we love it!!  I know that my girls are thriving and learning I see the fruit of it daily! Truly I have learned a lot in the past two years.  Amazing how God can do that!

Many Blessings to you and your school year!
