THAT'S A WRAP

Well here is our weekly wrap-up, late as usual.  We have had some very busy weekends lately, so I am having a hard time getting these posts done on time:(

This week we did a snow theme or snowman theme I should say.  We had a lot of fun!!

We read The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats.  The girls really enjoyed this story of a young boy enjoying a snowy day!  After we read it I had them put these pictures from the story in order.  I found the pictures HERE!
Then we went outside to play in the snow...yay!  We had a blast even though the snow wasn't snowman making snow we had fun anyway.  I made a couple hills in the snow and pulled them in the sled over the hills around in the yard.  Jada liked speed and Jasmine just wanted to slowly go around the track.

Jasmine building a snow hill:)

Jada enjoying being outside:)

My little snow angels!!

Coloring  a snowman and tracing the letter S.

My little lady Jordan who is now 8 months old....

Cut and paste snowman or snowwoman.

They are getting some scissor skills finally......yay!

Jasmine is starting to get a lot more into creating and making it her own.  This is Frosty!

And this is Crystal Frosty's wife....lol!  She turned the black and red hat over to make a more girly hat!!

These turned out SOOOO cute!

Do a dot letter S I found over at Confessions of a Homeschooler.

Snowman matching file folder game.  I found this game a couple years ago and when returning to the website I couldn't find it...They have a lot of other great file folder games though.

We did Exercise your ABC's which I can't find the link to....sorry. (If it is you let me know)
Here is Bb for balance on 1 foot.

Ii for act like an inchworm.

And Cc for Cutie!!:)

Jada learned how to draw a snowman step by step.

I drew the body of the snowman on our little chalkboard and Jasmine drew the rest.

Then she drew this one herself....I was quite impressed!!

Jasmine traced her letter S with her finger.  This is tempura paint in a ziploc.  I found this idea HERE!

We made some snowball cookies, but they tasted like cardboard with powdered sugar on them.  So I won't share the recipe...he he!  At least we had a good time making them.

That was what we did this week.  I didn't post last week because we went and stayed at my mom's house in Michigan for a few days.  We had a really nice visit and I got to meet my new niece Olivia Pearl....Such a cutie!!

Here are my girls and their cousins Isabella and Caroline.

Thanks for stopping by!!  Be blessed!!
